Go to the Vital Chek website or the site of another company that can obtain your birth certificate for you. Vital Chek claims to have workers across the country who can get records for you and send them your way without you leaving the comfort of your home.
Create an account with the birth certificate company. Click on Place an Order and fill out the necessary information, giving the company your name and the address at which you'd like the birth certificate to be sent.
Give the birth certificate company the information they need in order to find the correct birth certificate. Usually they will ask for the person's full name, the names of the person's parents and the county in which the person was born. You don't usually have to have all the necessary contact information about the individual. But the more information you can provide, the better.
Type in your credit card information into the website's secure system. If you don't have a credit card, some of these sites do allow for other forms of payment like personal checks and money orders.
Click on Submit on the website and wait for your order to be processed. Give them a few weeks to get the job done for you, and check your mail.
