The clothing that girls have to pack for an overnight trip are pajamas, extra shoes, extra socks and a change of clothes. Since the camp is during summer, pack light clothes such as shorts and a T-shirt. You'll be swimming so pack a bathing suit. However, bring a sweater because it can become cooler at night. Leaders bring an extra hat, scarf and mittens and warm socks.
Pack a wash cloth, a towel and toiletries. Toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant. Leaders should bring sanitary pads, a first-aid kit, tissue paper, insect repellent and sunscreen.
Girls should bring a warm sleeping bag, a pillow and an extra blanket. In case the campsite doesn't have mattresses, girls need to bring air mattresses or pads. Leaders should bring extra tarps and a whisk broom for tent camping. Leaders should also bring wool blankets in case someone's blanket isn't enough to keep her warm.
Supplies for activities are brought by the leaders. These supplies include red balloons to use over flashlights on a night hike; playing cards such as a deck of cards or the game UNO; and board games. Other supplies you need to bring on an overnight trip are markers, bungie cords, song books, a small notebook with a pen or pencil, and paper.
Pack a flashlight, extra batteries and a camera. Bring a sit-upon, which is an insulated pad used to protect your backside from the cold and damp while sitting on the ground. Sit-upons are usually homemade. You can make one by sewing a square "pillow" using a vinyl cloth-backed tablecloth and stuffing it with newspapers. Leaders should bring food and beverages, including coffee and enough canned soup for the troop. Bring a roll of large garbage bags, extra flashlight and batteries, jumper cables, safety pins and matches or a lighter. Other things leaders should bring are ziplock storage bags, paper towels, a waterproof container, dish towels, dish soap, rubberbands, newspaper, aluminium foil, hair ties/clips and a radio.
