Prescription glasses may be worn as well as religious clothing that is worn on a daily basis.
Visit your local Passport Acceptance Facility with your application for a passport, your proof of citizenship, your photo identification and both of your passport photos.
Give the employee at the Passport Acceptance Facility all of your forms and let him know if you'd like to expedite the processing of your passport, which means your passport will be delivered to you two to three weeks after submitting your application instead of six to eight weeks later. Expediting your passport costs an additional $60 as of 2010.
Pay the fee for your passport. As of 2010 the fee is $135. Accepted methods of payment differ by state. You may travel to the British Virgin Islands as soon as your passport arrives in the mail.
