Complete your application. Armenian police departments and the Visa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have passport applications. Be aware the application must be filled out in English and Armenian.
Notarize a consent form to apply for a passport if the applicant is under the age of 16. The consent needs a signature from one parent or legal guardian. Armenian military papers must be attached for male applicants 16 and over due to mandatory military service requirements.
Take your passport photos. You need two photos clearly showing your face against a neutral background. Online programs allow you to create passport photos from home.
Submit your application with your birth certificate, two passport photos and notarized consent or military papers. Applications for children under 16 years of age are accepted by the Visa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Armenian police department accepts applications for those 16 and over. Your fingerprints are taken to complete the application process.
Processing time to receive your Armenian passport is four to five months. Valid for 10 years from the date of issue, your passport can be extended another five years.
