How to Obtain a Mexican Passport Online

Mexican citizens are required to obtain a government-issued passport to be granted international travel, including legal entry and exit into the country of Mexico. The document serves as proof of Mexican citizenship and personal identification for its holder. Although a Mexican passport is traditionally obtained from a consulate office or local embassy, the necessary forms and criteria are available online. Completing an application for a Mexican passport on the Internet saves a considerable amount of time and effort, but some of the process still requires a personal appearance at the designated office.
