Do you need a passport to Belize?

U.S. citizens visiting Belize are required to have a passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry into Belize. For stays longer than 30 days, visitors may need to obtain an extension from the Belizean Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

Visitors from some countries may also be required to have a visa in addition to a valid passport. Please check with the Belizean Ministry of Foreign Affairs for specific requirements for your nationality.
