Refer to the date of issue. The Z Visa is valid for a 90-day period and restricts the visa holder to one entry into China.
Check the issue date and calculate ahead 90 days. The visa holder must exit by or before the 90th day. For example, if a visa is issued on May 1, the applicant would need to leave by July 29th of the same year.
Observe special circumstances. The visa may be deemed null and void if the applicant is believed to possess a mental disorder, leprosy, AIDS, venereal diseases, contagious tuberculosis or other infectious diseases.
Exit China by the expiration date or obtain an Extended Z Visa. Contact the embassy to determine what options are available to you and your family. Fees and restrictions will vary by jurisdiction.
Obtain an Extended Z Visa for all family members who will also remain in China for the extended period.
