The convertible Sierra Designs Omega CD tent is a tent is produced by Sierra Designs, a company creating a range of reliable outdoor products including tents. The Omega CD features a small mesh window, one door, three aluminum poles, a vestibule and enough floor space for two people. It can be converted into either a 3-season or 4-season tent and is made of ripstop nylon with a fly made of polyurethane coated nylon taffeta.
The entire tent weighs a total of seven lbs. Its floor space is equal to 36-square feet with an 11-square foot vestibule. When set up, its interior peak, or what could be considered the height, is 45-inches. When packed, the tent measures 6 12-inches by 24-inches.
Sierra Designs no longer produces the Omega CD tent model. Back in 2002, this tent cost around $300. According to reviews, the tent is able to withstand windstorms and heavy rainstorms.
