Choose your camping location. The ground should be level, and clear of any large debris, such as stumps or rocks. You'll want to pitch your tent on dry ground and under a tree if you are expecting rain.
Roll the tent out onto the ground. Pull on the fabric so that the corners are as far apart as possible.
Connect the two main rods at their midpoint forming an "X" shape. The Limelight 3 comes with two main rod sections that are connected by string. The rods are initially bound together, but will snap into place when they are untangled. The string leading down the center of each rod will provide ample tension to keep the rods straight.
Connect the bottom of each of the main rods to the grommets at the bottom corners of the tent. Fasten the rods to the tent using the clips that run up the corners of each tent wall above the grommets.
Fasten the remaining small rod section to the roof of the tent, directly below the midpoint of the two main rods. The smaller rod provides extra support for the roof of the tent, and adds an anchor point for the built-in storage compartments on the two side walls. Your tent is now ready for use.
