More of an underground club for dance than an actual dance club, Dance Dance Party Party Chicago is a weekly women-only dance fest. The idea of it is to provide a fun atmosphere for women to bust out their dance moves without fear of criticism or getting hit on. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable or workout clothes. Volunteers can guest DJ for future events by coming up with a music playlist and a creative DJ name. Unlike normal dance clubs, Dance Dance Party Party Chicago does not serve alcohol and does not have a minimum age to participate. Around since 2006, the club has inspired Dance Dance Party Party sessions in other cities around the world.
