The National Junior Tennis League program is open to children who want to learn the sport or improve their game. Children who participate in the summer program are given the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of tennis. Children work with an instructor to learn the forehand, backhand and rules of the game. Children are also taught the value of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Classes are open to children ages 6 to 18. There is a fee for the class, but scholarships are available.

Children with more advanced swimming abilities can participate in a snorkeling class. The classes are open for children ages 6 months and up. Registration for the swimming lessons must be conducted in person at the Parks and Recreations office.
