  1. Underwater Adventures Aquarium

    • Located under Bloomington's Mall of America, Underwater Adventures Aquarium brings kids and adults face to face with 5,000 sea creatures, ranging from sharks and stingrays to sea turtles and seahorses. The Underwater Adventures Aquarium's full-submersion tunnel transports visitors 14 feet below surface of the water.

    Valleyfair Family Amusement Park

    • The largest amusement park in the upper Midwest, Valleyfair Family Amusement Park boasts more than 75 rides and attractions, including eight roller coasters. Entrance to Soak City Waterpark and the six-story Pepsi IMAX Theater are included with admission. Valleyfair Family Amusement Park also hosts live entertainment ranging from magic and movies to music. Children age two and younger are free.

    Village of Yesteryear

    • Operated by the Steele County Historical Society, Village of Yesteryear is a village of 15 structures reminiscent of turn of the twentieth century. Village of Yesteryear features two log cabins, a fire station, farm machinery building, general store/post office, railroad station and caboose, country school, blacksmith shop, St. Wenceslaus of Moravia Church built in 1891 and the Dunnell mansion built in 1868. Children under the age of six are free with an adult.

    Minnesota Zoo

    • The Minnesota Zoo is home to more than 504 different species of animals. In addition to the KAYTEE World of Birds Show, Minnesota Zoo has six different trails: Medtronic Minnesota Trail, Discovery Bay, Northern Trail, Russia's Grizzly Coast, Tropics Trail and Wells Fargo Family Trail. There are a wide range of daily events at the Minnesota Zoo, such as the coral reef dive show, cow milking demonstration and shark feedings.
