This is the full, official birth certificate. It is the hardest to obtain and can be used in all cases when you need to prove your identity such as applying for a passport or registering for school. It includes information including the child and parents' personal information, the delivering doctors and signatures from the parents and doctors.
This is also known as a short form birth certificate, and is a computer certification that proves the original vital record exists. It does not provide as extensive information as the longer version, but includes vital information such as the child's name, gender, birthplace and date of birth. It can usually be used in lieu of the longer version as a proof of identity.

This is either handed out by the hospital or can be ordered from the territory for keepsake purposes. It may have the baby's footprints on it, decorative fonts or gold embossing. It is not a valid form of identification, but can be framed as a family heirloom.
