When booking your stay at Casino Morongo in beautiful Cabazon, California (close to Palm Springs), you might want to get a pool-side cabana to help you comfortably endure 110 degree days. Reserving your cabana becomes an instant challenge when the spa receptionist says "Pick a Number!" How is the guest supposed to know which cabana is really worth the $$?
Just so you know, there are 3 pools and about 17 pool side cabanas on the grounds of the beautiful Morongo Casino in Palm Springs. No where on the internet could I locate anything that told me where each numbered cabana was situated in the pool area.
The best cabanas have private beaches and access both the larger pool and the lazy river. These are cabanas #1-#5. If you have never been to this resort, trust me, you want one of these luxury cabanas.
As you venture to your right of a very relaxing lazy river pool, complete with inner-tubes, you will begin to see a row of cabanas that wrap all the way around to the backside of the lazy river.
Cabana # 6 would be closest to the bar area and restrooms and has the easiest access to the lazy river. Cabana #7 on up get farther and farther away from the access points to the river and you will have to walk around lounge chairs and over people whenever you wish to use the restrooms or make a bar visit.
Reserve your cabana ahead of time. Call and speak to the spa receptionist. You can change your number reservation when you get there, only if that cabana hasn't already been taken.
Enjoy your cabana.....they are totally worth it!!!!
