Waterparks in East Tennessee

Whether you are a native or on vacation, chances are you will want to cool off during the hot summer in East Tennessee. Waterparks provide a place to do just that, with most offering attractions for the entire family. From tall, winding water slides to slow, relaxing wave pools, the Volunteer State is sure to have a water park to meet your needs.
  1. Wild WaterDome

    • This indoor park is open year-round, but thanks to its glass roof you will still need to wear sunscreen. The 60,000-square-foot facility offers slides, wave pools and water rides of all varieties. Visitors can surf or body-board on the "Smokies Surf Rider" or relax in the Magnolia Grove hot tub. Slides include the 350-foot Trail Twister Tube Slide and the splash-filled "Washout Mountain." Families can also enjoy a raft adventure with 360-degree loops and a nearly 60-foot drop on Runaway Canyon.
