Research a reasonable sales price for your motor home. Check out the price of the same style campers in new models. Look at advertisements placed by both individuals and dealers of used motor homes that are similar to yours.
Advertise by placing the motor home in front of your home (if possible) with a "for sale" sign on it. Make sure there is also a phone number, so that passersby can call you. If you want only serious buyers to call, post the sales price in plain view.
Place an ad in a local paper that has a large circulation area. This will get your advertisement out to more people but still keep the sale within driving distance. List all important information, such as make, model, year, condition, sales price and contact information. Add a picture if possible.
Sell to a dealer that purchases used RVs and campers such as Camping World. Have all of your paperwork and title information with you. Do not expect to get the price that the motor home is worth when selling to a dealer. You will get a wholesale price. The dealer needs to make a profit for itself. You may also trade it in on a newer model if buying a new one is your goal.
Advertise online at RV sites. Enter information about the motor home as you would with other advertisements. Possible sites include RV Trader Online, Sell RV and Buy and Sell RVs.
