Instructions

    • 1

Fill the bottom reservoir of the double boiler with water. Fill the top reservoir with 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water.

    • 2

Bring the contents of the pan to a roiling boil and then reduce the heat immediately to a simmer. This creates a sort of caramel type of candy base. Stir in the flavored oil of your choice, along with the condensed sweetened milk. Let it simmer for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.

    • 3

Pour half of the mixture into the lollipop mold, pouring in a spiral manner. Do not fill every dip in the mold. Skip some of them.

    • 4

Stir in approximately 4 drops of a food coloring of your choice into the remaining candy mix in the double boiler.

    • 5

Pour the colored syrup into the mold, filling the empty dips. This finishes the spiral shape of the lollipop. Place the lollipop stick, which should measure 10 inches, into the bottom of the lollipop mold. Insert the tip into the candy by 3 inches. Let it settle for three hours in the freezer before releasing from the mold. Repeat this step to make as many lollipops as you want.
