Download a printable map of Europe online. Owl and Mouse offers blank, printable maps of the continent online. You can also perform a map search on a popular search engine such as Google by typing "printable map of Europe" in the search box, clicking "Enter," selecting your preferred map and save the image to your computer's hard drive.
Click on your web browser's "File" tab, select the "Print" option and print the map of Europe that you selected.
Place the printed map on a flat surface in a well lit area. Enhance the outline of the printed map by drawing over the outline with a dark marker.
Place a sheet of printing or copy paper on top of the printed map, taping the edges to the flat surface.
Trace the highlighted map outlines carefully on your blank sheet of paper. Be sure to take your time while drawing the outlines of each and every country on your map of Europe.
Add capitals, specific cities, rivers or mountain ranges to your map by using the freehand method. To help you in this process, place the printed map directly to the right or left side of your outlined paper and study the placement of each area that you would like to add to your custom map. You can use a pencil to mark each capital, city, river or mountain range on your custom, and then trace over your penciled markings with a marker when you're satisfied.
