The Bannf Summer Arts Festival is a popular event that takes place every summer. The event takes place at The Bannf Centre in Alberta, Canada and is comprised of over 150 events that include theatre performances, literary readings, art displays and craft and art showcases. The event runs from the last weekend of April every year to the beginning of September.

The Bannf National Park Bike Fest happens in the middle of June every year when the weather is warm in an area of Canada that is primarily popular for skiing, snowboarding and other winter events. The event is made up of five bicycle races and two large events that feature live performances and exhibits. Bicycle racers from all over the world make their way to Canada every year to compete during the festival. Over $20,000 in prize money is offered to the winners.

The Celebration of Light has been taking place in Vancouver since 1990 during the month of July. Every weekend, a different theme competition takes place. The best viewing areas are located at English Bay, Kitsilano, Vanier Park and Jericho Beach. It is estimated that in 2009 a total of 1.4 million people attended the event. The event is listed as one of the "Best Eight City Breaks in the World" by Condé Nast Traveler magazine and attracts fireworks designers from all over the world. In addition to the fireworks competitions, the event also features live performances, vendors and exhibits.
