The Montréal International Dragon Boat Race Festival is held in July. Watch as 200 teams compete in the boat race and experience the many activities the event has to offer. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts was founded in 1860 and exhibits about 35,000 pieces, including paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings, photographs and decorative art objects. View the museum's collection of European, Canadian and non-Canadian art, contemporary art, decorative art and design, and Mediterranean archaeology. The museum also offers educational and cultural activities. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is open from Tuesday to Sunday. Children 12 and under are free.
