    Perth Museum

    • Perth Museum is located in the Matheson House, a stone home built in 1840 for a well-to-do merchant and politician. Perth Museum allows visitors to step back in time to see how the home looked in the years after it was first built and includes furniture and decorative elements dating from that period. Permanent and temporary exhibits pay tribute to extraordinary events and accomplishments in Perth's past, such as the pistols from Perth's last fatal duel. In summer, the museum hosts pioneer demonstrations and special events in its gardens.
