Things to Do in Trois-Rivieres, Canada

Trois-Rivieres, founded in 1634, is North America's second oldest city. Located at the confluence of the Saint-Maurice and St. Lawrence Rivers, Trois-Rivieres refers to "three rivers." As Canada's first industrial community, Trois-Rivieres was home to iron and cast manufacturing at the Forges in 1730. This gateway to Quebec's Mauricie boreal forest home offers recreational activities such as skiing, skating and ice fishing.
