Visit the Anse Chastanet Marine National Park in Soufriere. This vast park has it all, from coral reefs, beach area, snorkeling, scuba diving, exotic sea life, and swimming. The beach is gorgeous and it's a great place to also relax after a busy day of engaging in all the aforementioned recreational activities.
Check out La Tille Falls on Atlantic Coast Road. This is a serene and gorgeous place to enjoy a natural garden and waterfalls. There is a 100 year old dam located here, and various excellent and scenic hiking trails available. Also, be sure to check out the ruins of a former sugar mill located on the grounds of the Fromaisse Estate.
Go to Anse La Raye on the Caribbean Coast Road. This is a charming and quiet fishing village that is rather popular with tourists. On the harbor, there is a lively and small crafts market as well as views of many colorful and bright buildings. The town square is full of Colonial architecture. The small town feel, with the church and bakery, makes this a very attractive tourist stop.
Spend the afternoon at Mamiku Gardens. These are the largest gardens in all of St. Lucia. Located on a hilltop within the Baron Micoud Estate, visitors can explore various gardens with many herbs, orchids and other flowers. There are also secret gardens hidden here, which makes it a bit of a fun challenge for the visitors to find them.
Shop at the Choiseul Crafts Centre in Choiseul. This is a pleasant and rustic look at St. Lucian life. This lively market provides local craftsmen and artisans with a wonderful place to sell their goods. You will find basketry, pottery, dolls and even furniture available here.
