Mississippi, Savannah, and Shenandoah Rivers: Not in the Same Region
These three rivers occupy distinct regions:
- Mississippi River – drains the central U.S., flows south to the Gulf of Mexico.
- Savannah River – forms the Georgia–South Carolina border, empties into the Atlantic (southeastern U.S.).
- Shenandoah River – flows through Virginia and West Virginia, joins the Potomac in the mid-Atlantic.
They do not share a common region.
