Indoor Water Parks in the Cleveland, Ohio Vicinity

The city of Cleveland, Ohio, located on the shores of Lake Erie, is a popular summer family destination location. The nearby city of Sandusky, located 60 miles west, boasts numerous theme parks including the well-known Cedar Point and is also home to three indoor water parks---one of them being the largest indoor water park in the nation.

  1. Kalahari Water Park Resort and Convention Center

    • The Kalahari Indoor Water Park is the largest indoor water park in the United States. This African-themed, mammoth, 173,000-square-foot park features 17 exciting rides and attractions and an outdoor swimming pool area. Surf or boogie board on one of the two "Flowriders" where 50,000 gallons of water create over-five-foot-high waves, or have some fun in the 12,000-square-foot wave pool. Alternatively, kick back and relax on the Lazy River ride or in your own private, indoor cabana. The water park also offers six on-site restaurants. The resort is open 365 days a year and boasts its own 900-room hotel on the premises.
