The Royal Blue Wildlife Management Area includes 50,000 acres of land filled with ATV trails less then two miles to the west of LaFollette, Tennessee. The area features ATV trails of all skill levels along with ORV truck trails for larger vehicles. Visitors to the area will find lodging options including campgrounds, RV parks and cabin rentals.
Cove Lake State Park is located seven miles to the southwest of LaFollette and only three miles from the Royal Blue ATV trails. It offers 100 partial hook-up campsites that include a charcoal grill, picnic table and enough space for an ATV trailer. Facility amenities include a dump station, two modern bathhouses with private showers and a banquet hall. Recreational amenities include a paved hiking trail, six picnic pavilions and a playground. The park offers boat rentals for Cove Lake, which is a 210-acre quality bass and bluegill fishing lake. Rickard Ridge BBQ is an on-site barbecue restaurant and is open for lunch and dinner.

Copper Cove Cabins are located on Norris Lake just two miles south of LaFollette and four miles from the Royal Blue ATV trails. Visitors will find seven two-bedroom, one-bath cabins that include cable TV, a fully equipped kitchen and deck with gas grill along with a sleeper sofa and views of the lake. The property has concrete walkways connecting the cabins to the lakefront where each cabin gets its own boat slip. Recreational amenities include a common fire pit area, horseshoe court and walking trails. A large parking area is located behind the cabins that will accommodate large RVs and ATV trailers.

Indian Mountain State Park is located 14 miles to the north of LaFollette on the Kentucky border. Access to the Royal Blue ATV trails is 15 miles to the south. It offers partial hook-up campsites that include a paved pad, picnic table and space for an ATV trailer. Facility amenities include a modern bathhouse with private showers, three picnic shelters with barbecue grills and a dump station. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool with patio seating area, a paved walking trail and a playground. The park features ponds located throughout the property for fishing along with pedal boat rentals at the largest.
