The Grand Marais Offshore Challenge is a fishing tournament located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Each June, contestants launch from the Grand Marais township marina, all competing for a first-place cash prize of $4,000. Other prizes are also awarded during the tournament.

A weeklong event that typically happens in late August or early September, the Chippewa County Fair provides entertainment for every member of the family. Entertainment at the Chippewa County Fair consists of livestock shows, beauty pageants, music and plenty of games and carnival rides. On-site camping is available for the duration of the fair, though advance registration is required.

Originally founded in Iron Mountain, Michigan, in 1991, the Pine Mountain Music Festival is an annual series of concerts and events in various venues throughout Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
