Water Parks in Wildwood, New Jersey

Wildwood, New Jersey, is the quintessential Jersey Shore summer resort. Free wide beaches, two miles of boardwalk, a lighthouse, miniature golf, tennis courts, crabbing, fishing, boating and the Doo Wop Motel Historic District attract tens of thousands of visitors daily to the town. A vacation in Wildwood would not be complete, however, without enjoying the wet thrills offered at one of its three famous water parks.

  1. Ocean Oasis Waterpark and Beach Club

    • Owned and operated by Morey's Pier, Ocean Oasis Waterpark and Beach Club is on Surfside Amusement Pier at 25th Street and the beach. Attractions include a 1,000-foot lazy river, adult relaxation pool and interactive water play areas for kids. Take a dive on the Riptide Rapids tube slides, Sidewinder Mat Slides and the five-story Cliff Dive speed slide, then relax with a 30-minute, $50 Swedish massage.

    Raging Waters Waterpark

    • Raging Waters Waterpark is another Morey's Pier holding. Opened in 1985, the park is in Mariner's Landing Amusement Park at Schellinger Avenue and the beach. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Raging Waters not only contains loads of slides such as Rocket Raft tube slides and Shotgun Falls drop slides, but an 1,100-foot lazy river, a heated family pool, kiddie pool and picnic area. In addition, the park has two wonderful interactive water play areas for the kids, which even adults love. Shipwreck Shoals is a pirate-themed area, complete with water cannons, a ship, fort, rowboat, climbing rope and slides. The Camp Kid-Tastrophy play area features water guns, slides, tire swings and buckets of fun. All-day combination wristbands cost $36 as of 2010 for use at both Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis, with operating hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in-season.
