The town of Downey is located only 13 miles from Los Angeles, California. The Potrero Club is located just outside of Downey in nearby Cudahy, and it offers a variety of Latin, salsa, rock and hip-hop played by live DJ's. There is no dress code, and guests can enjoy two large dance floors and a variety of drink specials at the full service bar. All ages are welcome at the Potrero Club. The club also accepts auditions by live bands and schedules performances by local artists. The Potrero Club also hosts special themed nights and dance contests.

The Cowboy Country night club can be found just outside of Downey in nearby Long Beach. It's open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night. There is no cover charge from 6 to 7 p.m. Cowboy Country features nightly specials.
