How to Track a Delta Airlnes Flight in Progress

  Open your Internet browser of choice on your computer.

  Go to FlightAware. Look at the left-hand side of the page for "Live Tracking," then click "Browse by Operator."

  The next page opens to a list of operators. Choose and click "DAL -- Delta Airlines."

  Choose which flight you wish to track. You can choose by flight number or choose by origin, destination and departure time. You will also see the estimated arrival time for the flight.

  After selecting your Delta Airlines flight that you wish to track, a new page will open and you will see a map showing approximately where the flight is at that moment. You will also see other flight information, such as scheduled versus actual departure time, altitude, progress and time remaining for the flight, and estimated distance that the plane is traveling.

FlightView

  Open your Internet browser of choice on your computer.

  Go to FlightView. You will see the "Flight Tracker" at the top of the page.

  Click "Select an airline" and choose "Delta Air Lines -- DL."

  Enter the flight number that you are tracking. Click "Find flight." If you do not know the flight number, you may track by city. The flight information will be displayed for the selected flight, including a map showing where the flight currently is in the air.
