The combined height, length and width of your piece of carry-on baggage must not exceed 49 inches. Additionally, your carry-on baggage must be no more than 9.5 inches high, 15.5 inches wide and 24 inches long. Frontier Airlines does not offer specific guidelines about the size of your personal item, but it must be small enough to fit under the seat in front of you.

Passengers with special needs may also bring assistive devices onto the plane. These items include walkers, canes, braces, crutches and other similar items. These assistive devices do not count as carry-on baggage or a personal item. You may also bring a car seat on the plane if you are traveling with a child, as long as the seat is no wider than 16 inches and is approved for use in airplanes.
The Transportation Security Administration prohibits certain items in carry-on baggage. You cannot bring on the plane most sharp items that could be used as weapons, including knives, large scissors and box cutters. Other forbidden items include explosives, spray paint, many chemicals, firearms and baseball bats. If you are unsure whether your item is permitted in your checked baggage, check the TSA's list in advance.
