Assemble the top corner brackets with the bolts included in your kit, tightening by hand at first and then completely tightening with a ratchet and a socket or an impact wrench. Follow manufacturer instructions, but form the corner brackets out of a "T" piece and an "L" piece attached together. Once you finish, the bolts will protrude from the bracket. Use these bolts to attach the jack to the camper.
Hold the bracket in place and mark the holes with a pencil or a marker on the underside of the camper. Pre-drill your pencil marks with 1/8-inch drill bit. Attach the first bracket to the corner of the camper using 1 and 1/4-inch diameter lag screws with a socket and a ratchet or impact wrench, which will attach the bracket to the camper corner on the framework. Screw into the center of the slot, if the bracket holes are slotted. Add steel angles inside of each corner if using extra wide brackets.
Use washers and locking nuts to mount the jacks to the bolts extending from the brackets. When tightening locking nuts down, work by hand without the use of air- or battery-operated impacts to ensure that you don't stripo the Teflon coating on the inside of the locking nut.
Repeat steps to assemble lower brackets, except for attaching them to the camper, with the additional clamp assembly. Open the clamp and slip the jack base inside of the clamp. Screw the lower brackets to the lower corner of the jack. Attach the top of the jack to the bottom of the top bracket, which is attached to the underside of the camper. Using the jack tool, crank it to confirm that it moves up and down and in a straight line. If unsuccessful, loosen the top bracket mounted to the bottom of the trailer and add shims to make level, then move onto the next corner. Repeat the steps to complete all corners.
