Create a pole casing on the end that will be opposite the camper. Fold the raw edge under 3 inches and then another 3 inches. Use pins to hold in place and then sew.
Fold down the top edge of the camper awning 3 inches where it will attach to the camper and then another 3 inches. Use pins to hold in place and sew.
Measure the space between the holes in the camper shell where you attach the awning. Transfer these measurements to the backside of the awning fabric.
Read the manufacturer’s directions for attaching the grommets. Use the tools that come with the grommets to attach them to the awning at the measured marks.
Attach the awning to the camper by inserting the bolts through the grommet holes and into the camper shell. Tighten the bolts.
