      Park the motorcycle on a level surface. Make sure that the stand is level and secure.

      Check the temperature of the exhaust pipes. Allow hot pipes to cool.

      Place a drain pan under the bike. Whenever handling the plug, make sure that there is something to catch any leaking oil.

      Find the crank case. It is located in the lower, center section of the bike.

      Find the oil plug. The plug is located on the lower right side of the crank case.
