How to Get a Fast Pass in Pennsylvania

Paying at toll booths can be a frustrating experience, especially when you realize that you're out of change. If you live in Pennsylvania and want to avoid long lines in the "cash" toll booth lanes, apply for an E-ZPass. An E-ZPass transponder is affixed with sticky strips to the inside of your windshield and has a radio transponder inside that communicates with toll booths when you drive through. The toll amount is automatically deducted from your E-ZPass account, so there's no need to stop and pay. An E-ZPass can be purchased in three different ways and is simple to obtain.
