Cherokee Lake Campground is in the southwestern part of Hawkins County, along the shores of Cherokee Lake in Mooresburg. The campground is nestled in a quiet area about 10 miles from the shops and restaurants of historic downtown Rogersville. It has 89 campsites and amenities such as laundry facilities, air-conditioned restrooms with showers, a community swimming pool, basketball court and a game room.
Around Pond RV Park is situated on 18 sprawling acres in Baileyton, approximately 2 miles from the Hawkins County line and roughly a quarter-mile from Interstate 81, a major thoroughfare in the area. In addition to a stocked fishing pond, the campground has picnic areas, laundry facilities, showers and free Wi-Fi and 62 RV campsites with water, sewer and electric hookups. The campground also has tent campsites.
Baileyton RV Park and Willowview Cabins, 3 miles from the county line, is situated on 40 acres, with convenient access to Interstate 81. The RV sites are roomy enough to accommodate big rigs and fifth wheels. Baileyton RV Park also has free cable television and Wi-Fi, a camp store, three fishing ponds and an 18-hole golf course.
Fall Creek Campground is 7 miles south of Hawkins County along the shores of Cherokee Lake in Russellville. The campground spans 140 acres, with bountiful wildlife viewing opportunities, primitive campsites and sites with water, sewer and electric service. Campers at Fall Creek also have access to two boat launches, a swimming area on the lake, restrooms with showers, a propane filling station and a camp store that sells everything from bait and tackle to camping supplies and snacks.
The campground in Warriors' Path State Park has 134 sites, each with a grill and picnic table. Ninety-four campsites have electric service and water hookups, while 40 primitive sites are situated in the park's seasonal overflow campground. Amenities include two sanitary dump stations and restrooms with hot showers. Visitors also have access to the park’s hiking and mountain biking trail system, nature programs, an amphitheater, swimming, boating and fishing areas along Fort Patrick Henry Lake. Horseback riding and an 18-hole golf course are situated nearby in the Appalachian Mountains' foothills.
Card'Nal Cove Resort is situated about 15 miles from the southern end of Hawkins County in Rutledge. Its location on Cherokee Lake provides access to fishing and boating from the campground's boat dock. Card'Nal Cove has campsites available for nightly, weekly or monthly stays. It also has nine rental cabins, each with a private bathroom and kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, coffeemaker and microwave. The dock house sells basic camping supplies, toiletries, groceries and fishing supplies.
