Camping in Kanangra-Boyd National Park

Kanangra-Boyd National Park is located in New South Wales, Australia, 100 km west of Sydney. Two features of the park are Kanangra Falls and Kanangra Walls. Camping is available at Boyd River camping ground.
  1. Setting

    • Boyd River campground is set among snow gums - small Eucalyptus trees. At night, you can see greater and sugar gliders (marsupials), possums, wombats, kangaroos and tawny frogmouths (birds).

    Facilities

    • There are wood barbecues, but bring your own firewood, as the campground does not provide any and chopping down trees is illegal. There are also non-flush toilets, and for water supply, you can get it from Morong Creek, but boil it before use. Other facilities include showers, picnic tables and bathrooms.

    Considerations

    • There are 30 sites available for use in the campground. Any type of caravan, trailer, or car is allowed in the campground.
