Boyd River campground is set among snow gums - small Eucalyptus trees. At night, you can see greater and sugar gliders (marsupials), possums, wombats, kangaroos and tawny frogmouths (birds).
There are wood barbecues, but bring your own firewood, as the campground does not provide any and chopping down trees is illegal. There are also non-flush toilets, and for water supply, you can get it from Morong Creek, but boil it before use. Other facilities include showers, picnic tables and bathrooms.
There are 30 sites available for use in the campground. Any type of caravan, trailer, or car is allowed in the campground.
