Brushy Lake State Park is as quiet, secluded park in the Cookson Hills. The park offers 23 tent and RV sites with water hookups and 30- and 50-amp electric service. The park is open year-round and allows pets. Amenities include outdoor grills, a picnic area, a playground, group shelters with electricity and comfort stations with showers. A lighted boat ramp and dock allow access to the 358-acre lake for boating and fishing.

Lakeside RV Park is a small park with 29 sites, nine of which are pull-throughs. Nine sites have 50-amp electric service, 20 sites have 30-amp electric service and all sites have full hookups. The pet-friendly park has a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. The park's pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
