It's near a wide range of boating and cycling activities, making it a great choice if you’re interested in exploring the countryside.
Cheddar and Burnham-on-Sea are two popular locations to the southwest of Bristol, and perhaps unsurprisingly the area has become synonymous for its association with delicious cheese. Brook Lodge Farm is in Cowslip Green and is the recipient of a number of environmental sustainability achievements, including the Green Tourism Business Gold Award in 2012. The area is steeped in history, and it’s close to Glastonbury and the Mendip Hills. All modern facilities are available, including bike rental, a children’s play area and free Wi-Fi. Another choice is Acacia Farm, in the hamlet village of Rooksbridge in Somerset. It features areas for barbecues and fire pits, along with two private bathrooms near the campsite.
