Virginia Creek Campground is less than 10 miles from Topsail Beach. The campground caters primarily to campers and recreational vehicles and only has a limited number of tent sites available. Virginia Creek does not allow pets, which can scare off some campers. The woods surrounding the campground offer chances to see wildlife, and it offers walking trails throughout the facility.
