Camping in the infield is as close to the action as you'll get. Tent camping is available in the south infield while RVs are permitted in the north infield section. No hook-ups are provided. Fires must be contained in a fire pit with a solid base, sides and screen, and must be a minimum of 8 inches off the ground. Generators can be used but must be turned off by midnight.

Located within a short walk to the front stretch of the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Tom Johnson Camping Center offers 462 sites for campers. All sites are equipped with electricity, water and sewer hook-up options and a picnic table. A well stocked pond is available for those with an interest in fishing.
