Money Island Beach, North Carolina, is less than two miles from Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. Although pet-friendly hotels are not found in Money Island Beach, accommodations in the Atlantic Beach and New Bern areas allow visitors to visit Money Island Beach nearby. The Caribbe Inn offers accommodations for pets for $10 each night. The rooms, while not fancy, are fun with Caribbean paintings on the wall, direct beach access and free accommodations for children under 12. There are boat slips and a dock with a fish-cleaning station. A waterfront BBQ area with grills offers visitors and their pets the chance to enjoy a meal outdoors.

The Sheraton New Bern Hotel and Marina allows dogs on the first floor for an additional $25 per night. They must be kept on a leash when out of the room and picked up after. They are allowed at the outer tables of the dockside cafe and on the boat rentals. The four-story inn features a full-service marina, boat charters, a swimming pool and a picnic area. There is also a restaurant on site.
