Cabins Near Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park welcomes over two million visitors each year, according to the National Park Service, who typically spend three to four days hiking along 700 miles of trails, horseback riding, fishing or boating. Visitors who choose to camp have access to 13 campgrounds and historic lodges within the park. Privately owned cabins located near the park's entrances to the west and east provide camping alternatives for those planning an extended stay at Glacier Park.
  1. East Glacier Motel and Cabins

    • Reserve one of 11 cabins at East Glacier Motel and Cabins with up to two bedrooms and kitchenette facilities. The cabins, located in East Glacier Park Village, have convenient access to restaurants, grocery stores and gift shops as well as Glacier Park Lodge and Golf Course. East Glacier's smaller cabins sleep two guests and include table service and small refrigerators, while the largest cabin sleeps four guests and includes a double and queen bed. Motel rooms with kitchenettes are also available, and two bungalows are ideal for extended stays at East Glacier. East Glacier Motel and Cabins is open from June 1 to August 31 each year and is located three miles east of the entrance to Glacier National Park on Highway 2.

    Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins

    • The Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins, located on the west side of Glacier National Park in Bad Rock Canyon, features rustic accommodations with Rocky Mountain views. The 3,400-square-foot lodge was built in 1907 and has one lodge room available. Eight unit cabins feature knotty pine interiors and one or two queen beds. Family cabins accommodate up to four guests and include the Bison Cabin with a private fenced backyard and the Antelope Cabin with a secluded entrance. Unit-cabin and lodge-room guests receive a complimentary breakfast each morning, and family cabins contain fully equipped kitchens for meal preparation. All guests may visit the lodge common areas, such as the library, horseshoe pits, barbecue grills and walking trails. The Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins is located nine miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park and 17 miles east of the town of Whitefish.

    Gaynors' Cabins in the Woods

    • Gaynors' Resorts feature cabins on a 7,000-acre working ranch or in the woods on 70 acres of property near Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Ranch cabins feature two bedrooms with queen beds and a loft with two twin beds as well as fully stocked kitchens and laundry facilities.
