Glacier has a few campgrounds inside the park that are affordable, including Fish Creek and St. Marys. As of the 2010 camping season, the cost is $25 per vehicle and $12 for a hiker or bicycle.
To the east and west boundaries of Glacier National Park there are a variety of places to RV camp, with nightly and monthly rental agreements. The Sears Motel has RV sites that are $20 per night and are allotted 30 amps of power (based on 2010 season rates), and Glacier Park Motel and Campground is open year-round for RV camping on the west side of the park. RV sites are $30 per night or $450 a month during the summer months (based on 2010 season rates).
For a more historical camping experience, Glacier Park Motel and Campground on the west side of the park offers camping for $75 per night, as of summer 2010. Tepee camping is a different experience than tent camping and a viable option for a family vacation.
