Carmel By the River RV Park is on the eastern edge of Carmel and rests on the banks of the Carmel River. Fishing docks are provided by the RV campground. Other amenities at this campground includes a recreation room with pool and ping-pong tables, shower and bathroom facilities, general store with groceries and a meeting room for private parties. Complimentary access to Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the campground. The RV parking spots provide hook-ups for water, sewage, electricity and cable television. Pets are allowed to stay on the campground property. Located in eastern Carmel, Saddle Mountain RV Park is only 15 minutes from the beaches of Carmel, as well as the Forest Theater. This outdoor performing arts center was built in 1910 and produces theatrical plays throughout the year. Complimentary access to Wi-Fi Internet is provided for the campgrounds guests. Other amenities at this campground resort include an outdoor swimming pool, playground for children, nature walking trails and a basketball court. The pool is only open from May through September. Water, electricity, cable and sewage hook-ups are available at the RV parking spots. The parking spots can accommodate vehicles of up to 40 feet. Tent camping sites are available as well. Pets are allowed on the property, but they must be on a leash when away from the RV.

Marina Dunes RV Park in Marina is a 20 minute drive north of Carmel and only a five-minute drive from Marina State Beach. This oceanfront park offers opportunities for beach activities and surfing, as well as walking paths. The campground is also a 10 minute drive from fishing opportunities in the Salinas River. Some amenities at this RV campground include a propane filling station, picnic area with barbecue grills, guest laundromat, playground for children and a club room with a fireplace and arcade games. A general store that sells souvenirs, RV supplies and groceries is also on the campground's property. Each RV parking spot has free access to Wi-Fi Internet, as well as water, sewage, electricity and cable hook-ups.
