Situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Table Rock State Park was built in the 1930s and is a part of the 80-mile long Flatheads Trail. The park features several furnished cabins with many necessities provided, including linens and kitchen utensils. The screened porch is perfect for viewing wildlife in comfort and the fireplace will keep you warm on a chilly night.
Each cabin includes one to three bedrooms and Cabin 15 is accessible for the handicapped. Free wireless is available at the nearby visitor center.
Local fishing includes the 36-acre Pinnacle Lake and the 67-acre Lake Oolenoy. Bass and catfish are common in both lakes. Lake Oolenoy features a fishing pier and a boat dock. Rental boats are available.
Other attractions include picnic shelters, seasonal swimming and hiking. Pets are not permitted in cabins.

Log homes and a lake-front guest house make up the accommodations at Lake Greenwood Log Cabins, situated in Greenwood, South Carolina. Open-beamed, vaulted ceilings allow for a spacious living space and each cabin has a panoramic view of the lake.
The fully equipped kitchen gives way to a great room with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a long day of fishing. Firewood is provided in season. Pool tables and a TV are provided for entertainment. The covered porch features a hot tub and a charcoal grill and the master bedroom offers a full Jacuzzi bath.
Fishing includes two public boat ramps and a 55-foot pier for docking. Pontoon rentals are available. Large mouth bass and blue gills are common in the area, along with several other species.
Other attractions include several restaurants and grocery stores, an 18-hole golf course and a tanning salon. Pets are permitted with prior approval.

A quick drive to historic Charleston, Givhans Ferry State Park is located on the Edisto River, the longest free-flowing black water stream in North America.
The rustic cabins, sitting on the bluffs overlooking the Edisto River, feature modern amenities, including kitchen supplies and bed linens.
When fishing, you can catch red breast, shellcrackers and eels, along with many other types of fish. A boat ramp is located just three miles from the cabins.
Part of a 56-mile canoeing and kayaking trail, Givhans Ferry offers many other activities. Picnicking and hiking are also common. Pets are now permitted in the park.
