The Lazy L RV Park in Sherman has 97 sites, including 80 that are pull-throughs and are from 58 feet to 80 feet in length. The RV sites come with sewer, water and electric connections that include 50 amps. The sites also come with cable TV and wireless Internet. On-site amenities include restrooms, showers and a convenience store. The Lazy L RV Park also has a pool and is next door to North Texas RV, a store that carries RV parts and propane. North Texas RV will also service or make repairs to RVs. Some of the RV sites are in shaded areas. Pets are allowed at a campground that is near Lake Texoma, which is popular for fishing and has boat docks.

Situated on the shore of Lake Texoma, the Eisenhower State Park has a variety of campsites for RVs. These range from sites with water only to sites with water, electric and sewer hook-ups. The park has restrooms, showers, three playground areas for the kids, screened shelters and a recreation hall with a kitchen. Additional features include a campground pavilion and a dump station. A fish-cleaning facility, a boat launch, boat docks and a fishing pier with lights are located along the lake. Nearly five miles of hiking trails are in the park. Eisenhower State Park is located 14 miles from Sherman on U.S. Highway 75. Campers can also take advantage of a full-service marina in the park.

Approximately 25 miles from Sherman, Lake Texoma - Thousand Trails has 199 RV sites with electric, sewer and water hook-ups as well as another 48 sites that have electric and water only. Campers can also opt to stay in one of its six cabins. The 300-acre campground features a boat dock, boat ramps and a fishing dock along Lake Texoma. Facilities include restrooms, showers, a family center, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, a children' pool, a laundry room, shuffleboard courts and a miniature golf course. Nature trails wind through the property and campers can swim in the lake. Groceries can be purchased at a campground that has a dump station for RVs.
