North Bingham County Recreation Area is in Shelley, Idaho, approximately 20 miles from Blackfoot. Park activities include horseback riding, fishing, a "Horse and Buggy" obstacle course, rodeo arena and access to the Snake River for fishing and boating. Visitors to the park can step back into history by exploring the Aldridge Schoolhouse or the General Store. The park can accommodate 12 RVs. Amenities include a group shelter, sanitary dump station, restrooms with showers, fire pits, playground, volleyball court, tennis court, softball field, boat ramp, model airplane flying field, picnic facilities and basketball courts. Additional park activities include boating and fishing on the Snake River. Rates as of 2010 are $16 per day.
