Gingko Petrified Forest State Park is a national historic preserve that sits on 7,470 acres and has 50 utility sites with two bathrooms and full hookups with a maximum pull-through length of 60 feet. The park has a museum and has 3 miles of camping trails and activities such as bird-watching, wildlife viewing and boating, fishing, waterskiing and personal watercraft on 27,000 feet of freshwater shoreline on the Columbia River. The sites may also be used for tent campers.

Yakima River RV Park is about 30 minutes from Vantage, Washington, and is a campground situated on a working ranch. The park offers 36 RV pull-through sites with 20-, 30- or 50-amp electric service and full hookups. Amenities are horse stalls, RV storage, boat and trailer storage, and shuttle service to attractions around the area. Tent camping is allowed and pets are welcome. Park activities include bird-watching, hiking, horseback riding, nature-trail walking, sunbathing, hunting and wildlife viewing. It is a short walk to fly-fishing and rafting on the Yakima River.
