The Pueblo West Campground has RV sites that come with water, electric and sewer hook-ups. The site can be rented on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Guests also have the option of staying in cabins or on tent sites. The main attraction at the Pueblo West Campground is its on-site rodeo and bar. Open throughout the year, the campground has free WiFi Internet access, restrooms with showers and a laundry facility. Situated a few miles northwest of downtown Pueblo and 10 miles from the fishing opportunities on Pueblo Lake, the campground encompasses 46 acres and can be accessed by paved roads. Campers can also board their horses on the property.

Guests at the Pueblo KOA can opt to stay on RV sites, tent sites or in cabins. The RV sites have 50-amp electric available and are located in both shaded and open spots. The sites are pull-throughs and have free data ports and wireless high-speed Internet access. The KOA holds special events such as milk shake socials and weekend pancake breakfasts. Amenities on the property include a fenced dog park, a 24-hour laundry room, restrooms and a hot tub for adults only. Among its recreational facilities are a heated swimming pool open from mid-May to mid-September, a jumping pillow, basketball courts, playgrounds, horseshoes and a nature trail. The KOA also has a group area with a fire pit and pavilion.

The Lake Pueblo State Park has three separate ares for camping that have a combined 400 sites. The Northern Plains Campground has both electrical and non-electrical hook-up sites and group camping areas. The Arkansas Point Campground, which is near the park's South Marina, also has electrical hook-ups. This is a very popular park, so reservations are recommended on holidays and summers weekends. Park activities include biking and hiking as well as boating and fishing on Lake Pueblo. A swimming beach is also located along the lake, which has boat ramps and two marinas. The park has a dump station, five picnic shelters, restrooms and showers.
